Overview

When you Discover Scuba Diving, you discover excitement and adventure – freedom and serenity. Nothing compares to the "weightless" exhilaration of breathing underwater. Only a diver knows the feeling!

During this 1½ hour trial-dive experience your PADI approved instructor will provide the guidance and equipment you'll need to breathe underwater for the very first time. Conducted in the low stress surroundings of a heated swimming pool, by the end of your experience you will have become familiar with scuba equipment and learnt basic scuba diving skills for underwater breathing and motion.

Skills learnt during Discover Scuba Diving can also be credited towards a full 'learn to dive' PADI Open Water course. This provides a great taster dive before committing to the full course.

Included in your experience

• All required equipment
• Coaching in basic safety concepts, core skills including how to put on equipment and swim around underwater in a closely supervised environment
• Certificate of completion and accreditation towards scuba diver certification

Requirements

• Participants must be at least age 10
• $15 registration fee
• Completion of Liability Releases (PADI)
• Completion of Medical Statement (PADI)
  (No doctors medical is required if you are in good health and all answers are negative)

Location

The Discover Scuba Diving is conducted at a private swimming pool in Coopers Beach. We will give you directions when you call to book your dive.
